Jaipur — Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari emphasized the state government’s commitment to implementing budget announcements efficiently while enhancing Rajasthan’s appeal as a prime tourist destination.
“We reviewed the announcements made in the budget and ensured that they are completed in a time-bound manner,” said Kumari. She highlighted the government’s focus on boosting tourism, adding, “We are making efforts to ensure that tourists arrive in Rajasthan in large numbers and that we provide them with the best facilities and good experiences.”
A key aspect of the state’s cultural and tourism revival is the restoration of historical structures. “The restoration of Baoris (step wells) is significant as they are our heritage,” she said, underlining the importance of preserving traditional water architecture to enrich tourism and conserve culture.
