CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews State Security Post Pahalgam Terror Attack

Jaipur | In the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a high-level review meeting to assess and strengthen security arrangements across the state. The meeting aimed to ensure preparedness and coordination among various law enforcement agencies to prevent any untoward incidents.

Key officials including the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and Director General of Police (DGP) attended the meeting in person, while senior officers from various districts joined via video conferencing. CM Sharma directed all departments to remain vigilant and take proactive steps to ensure public safety.

He emphasized the importance of inter-agency coordination, intelligence-sharing, and rapid response mechanisms in view of the national security concerns following the Pahalgam incident. Sharma also instructed the district administrations to monitor sensitive areas and enhance surveillance where required.

The Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to maintaining peace and security, stating that any threat to the safety of Rajasthan’s citizens would be dealt with firmly. The review reflects the state’s readiness to take all necessary precautions in light of recent developments.
