CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Address at Alpura Temple Consecration: “Barmer and Jaisalmer, the Land of Animals”

Alpura, Barmer – Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma addressed the crowd at the consecration of a temple in Alpura, stating that the land of Barmer and Jaisalmer is the land of animals.

During his visit to the newly constructed temple, the Chief Minister paid his respects to all the saints, monks, and sages present at the event. He expressed his gratitude for being invited to the ceremony and acknowledged the unique culture and civilization of the region.

Sharma highlighted the significance of the region’s Malani horses, which are recognized throughout the country. He also emphasized the unique identity of our culture in the world.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the challenges faced by the region, particularly the recent outbreak of lumpy skin disease among bovines, which has resulted in the death of hundreds of cattle each day in Barmer and Jaisalmer districts. He assured that the government is taking necessary measures to control the situation.

In his address, Sharma also touched upon the achievements of his government, including the increase in the Kisan Samman Nidhi to Rs. 8000.

The Chief Minister’s visit to Alpura is part of his tour of Barmer. His day began with a visit to Dehlawas Balaji Temple at Pratap Nagar in Jaipur, from where he went to Prem Temple, also in Pratap Nagar, where he watched the Ram Temple consecration ceremony live.

The consecration of the temple in Alpura marks a significant event in the region, reflecting the deep-rooted cultural and religious beliefs of the people. The Chief Minister’s presence and address at the event underscore the government’s commitment to preserving and promoting the region’s unique cultural heritage.
