Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa on Monday said that the state government has completed around 80 per cent of the preparatory work related to the upcoming State Budget, which is scheduled to be presented in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to the media in Jaipur, Bairwa stated that the government is working towards presenting a highly focused and development-oriented budget. He said the remaining preparatory work is progressing steadily and is expected to be completed in time for the budget presentation in the Assembly.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that the budget is being formulated with a clear focus on development priorities and effective governance. According to him, the government aims to ensure that allocations are directed towards sectors that have a direct impact on public welfare and long-term growth. He added that careful planning is being undertaken to balance development initiatives with fiscal responsibility.
Bairwa noted that the budget exercise involves detailed consultations and coordination across departments to align spending proposals with the state’s policy objectives. He indicated that infrastructure development, social welfare, and service delivery are among the areas receiving focused attention during the budgeting process.
The upcoming Rajasthan Budget is expected to outline the government’s economic roadmap for the next financial year and reflect its broader development agenda. The presentation of the budget will be followed by detailed discussions and debates in the Assembly, where legislators will examine proposed allocations and policy measures.
