UP CM Yogi Adityanath Orders Statewide Rollout of Farmer Registry to Streamline Benefits

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the large-scale implementation of the Farmer Registry across the state, stressing that registration of all farmers must be completed on a priority basis.

Special Camps in Every Gram Panchayat

To ensure maximum coverage, the Chief Minister instructed officials to organize special registration camps in every Gram Panchayat at the earliest. The objective is to connect every eligible farmer to the registry and ensure that no beneficiary is left out.

Deadline for Portal and Infrastructure

CM Yogi directed the Agriculture Department to:

  • Establish necessary technical infrastructure within a fixed timeline
  • Make the Farmer Registry portal fully operational by May 1, 2026
  • Integrate all departmental schemes with the registry

One-Stop Platform for Farmers

The Farmer Registry is being developed as an integrated benefit delivery system for the agriculture sector. It will allow farmers to:

  • Access multiple government schemes
  • Use a single unified identity
  • Receive benefits in a simplified and transparent manner

Linking Schemes Across Departments

The state government is working to link:

  • Agriculture Department schemes
  • Other related departmental benefits

with the Farmer Registry, ensuring seamless service delivery and improved efficiency.

Boost to Farmer Welfare and Governance

The initiative is expected to:

  • Improve targeted delivery of subsidies and benefits
  • Reduce duplication and delays
  • Strengthen digital governance in agriculture

The move marks a significant step toward modernizing agricultural support systems and enhancing farmers’ access to welfare schemes in Uttar Pradesh.
