Mathura, March 20, 2026: President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday visited the Danghati Temple in Govardhan, located in Mathura, and offered prayers on the third and final day of her Uttar Pradesh visit.
She also performed the traditional Govardhan Parikrama, a significant religious ritual undertaken by devotees.
Visit Concludes Three-Day Uttar Pradesh Tour
President Murmu’s three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh began on Thursday with darshan at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
During her visit, she also offered prayers at:
- ISKCON Temple Vrindavan
- Prem Mandir
Inauguration of Oncology Block in Vrindavan
On Friday, the President inaugurated the new Oncology Block at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram in Vrindavan.
The facility aims to:
- Strengthen cancer care services
- Improve access to treatment in the region
- Support healthcare infrastructure
Spiritual and Developmental Engagement
The visit combined spiritual engagements with initiatives to enhance public healthcare, reflecting a focus on both cultural and social development.
Following the completion of her program in Govardhan, the President returned to Delhi.
