Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews Eastern Region Development Projects in High-Level Meeting

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday chaired a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jaipur to review and discuss ongoing and proposed development projects in the eastern region of the state.

Senior officials and department representatives were present during the meeting, where progress across key sectors was assessed. Discussions focused on infrastructure expansion, water resource management, road connectivity, industrial growth, and social sector initiatives aimed at accelerating regional development.

According to officials, the Chief Minister emphasised the need for timely execution of projects and directed departments to ensure effective coordination to avoid delays. He also reviewed the status of budget allocations and implementation mechanisms to ensure that approved schemes translate into tangible benefits on the ground.

Eastern Rajasthan has been a priority region in the state’s broader development strategy, with initiatives aimed at improving irrigation facilities, strengthening transportation networks, and enhancing public services. The Chief Minister is understood to have sought regular monitoring of major projects and accountability at every administrative level.

Sharma reiterated that balanced regional growth remains central to the government’s policy framework and stressed that development efforts must reach both urban and rural areas equitably.

Officials indicated that follow-up reviews will be conducted periodically to track progress and address any bottlenecks. The meeting is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and ensure steady advancement of development initiatives across Rajasthan.
