No Immediate Indication of Terror or Communal Angle in Jaipur Incident: Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham

Date:

Rajasthan Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham on Monday said that there appears to be no prima facie indication of a terrorist or communal angle in the recent incident reported in Jaipur, though a detailed investigation is currently underway.

Speaking to the media, Bedham stated that police teams promptly reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. He added that preliminary assessments do not suggest the involvement of terror-related elements or communal motives. However, he emphasised that authorities are conducting a comprehensive probe before arriving at any definitive conclusions.

“The police arrived there and prima facie there seems to be no possibility of any terrorist incident or any communal incident, but a thorough investigation is being conducted and only after the investigation can anything be said,” the minister said.

Officials have indicated that forensic teams and local law enforcement are examining all aspects of the case to establish the sequence of events. The state government has urged the public to refrain from speculation and rely on verified information as the inquiry progresses.

The minister reiterated that maintaining peace and public safety remains a priority for the administration. He assured that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.

Authorities are expected to provide further updates once preliminary findings are formally reviewed and confirmed.
