PM Modi’s Resolute Fight Against Corruption: A Decade of Policy-Driven Governance

Date:

In a recent interview, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted his government’s unwavering commitment to combating corruption. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been unyielding in its pursuit of policy-driven governance over the past decade. The Prime Minister also took a jab at the Opposition, accusing them of “glorifying the corrupt” and referring to the notorious “Khan Market Gang”.

Corruption: A Systemic Menace

“Corruption is like termites, gnawing away at the system,” said PM Modi, reflecting the sentiments of a nation grappling with corruption. He reminisced about his election campaign in 2013-2014 when he pledged to confront corruption head-on, a promise that sparked widespread indignation against the pervasive corruption.

A Decade of Policy-Driven Governance

Upon assuming office, PM Modi’s government embarked on a mission to identify and rectify systemic defaults and loopholes. He asserted that a policy-driven country with clear guidelines significantly curtails the scope for corrupt practices.

“By defining the policy in black and white, we minimize the grey area, thereby reducing the scope for discrimination,” he explained. This focus on policy-driven governance has been a hallmark of his administration’s approach.

The Opposition and the “Khan Market Gang”

PM Modi was forthright in his criticism of the Opposition over corruption. He pointed out that vested interests raise questions when the “big fish” are apprehended. He questioned the motives of the “Khan Market Gang” and their attempts to frame narratives to shield criminals from facing the law.

In conclusion, PM Modi’s unwavering stance against corruption and his emphasis on policy-driven governance underscore his administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability. His criticism of the Opposition and the “Khan Market Gang” highlights the hurdles in the ongoing battle against corruption.
