PM Modi Criticizes Congress at Surendranagar Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public rally in Surendranagar, Gujarat, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of being a “wrong-delivery party.”

“Congress has always been a wrong-delivery party. They were asked for Independence, but they got partition. They were supposed to give development but instead, they looted the country,” said PM Modi, criticizing the party’s past actions.

He further alleged that the funds meant for the upliftment of the poor were misappropriated by the Congress. “The money of the poor went to the Congress,” he claimed, implying financial mismanagement and corruption during the Congress’s tenure.

In a controversial statement, PM Modi also accused the Congress of intending to “steal the ST, SC, OBC, reservation and give it away to Muslims.” This comment is likely to stir up debates about reservation policies and communal politics in the country.

The rally in Surendranagar is part of the BJP’s ongoing campaign in the state. The party is focusing on highlighting its development initiatives and criticizing the opposition’s policies.

The Congress party has yet to respond to PM Modi’s allegations. As the political temperature in Gujarat heats up, the discourse is expected to revolve around these contentious issues.
