PM Modi Accuses Congress of Creating Discord Among Hindu Faiths

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public rally in Surendranagar, accused the Congress party of attempting to sow discord among Hindu faiths. He referred to a statement made by Mallikarjun Kharge, a senior Congress leader, about Lord Ram and Lord Shiv, which he described as “dangerous” and “malicious.”

“Congress is trying to discriminate between Hindu faiths,” Modi said. He further added that Kharge’s statement was intended to create animosity between devotees of Lord Ram and Lord Shiv. He emphasized that these are traditions that have survived for thousands of years, and even the Mughals could not break them.

Modi also referred to a statement made by a Congress leader, whom he referred to as ‘Shehzada,’ about destroying Shakti. “A month ago, their Shehzada said that he would destroy Shakti… We are the worshippers of Shakti… Can the devotees of Shakti forgive this?” he questioned.

The Prime Minister’s comments come in the wake of a series of controversial statements made by Congress leaders, which have sparked a heated debate on religious tolerance and the role of political parties in fostering harmony among different faiths.

The Congress party has yet to respond to the Prime Minister’s accusations. As the political temperature rises, the people of India watch on, hoping for a resolution that upholds the country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
