Date:

Rajasthan, India – In a recent public meeting held in Jhalawar, BJP’s National President JP Nadda highlighted the significant strides India has made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, the image of the village has changed,” Nadda began, addressing the crowd. He went on to detail the numerous initiatives that have been undertaken since PM Modi assumed power in 2014.

In a remarkable achievement, electricity has been provided to 18,000 villages in just the first 1,000 days of his tenure. This initiative has not only illuminated homes but also brightened the future of countless individuals.

Further, more than 3,50,000 villages have been connected with roads since 2014, enhancing connectivity and fostering development. The improved infrastructure has facilitated better access to resources, thereby boosting the rural economy.

In a bid to improve sanitation and health, 5 lakh villages have been declared open defecation-free, and 12 crore toilets have been built. This move has significantly improved the quality of life in rural areas.

Nadda also highlighted the government’s efforts in combating hunger and poverty. “80 crore people have been provided free rations,” he said, adding that this initiative has resulted in 25 crore people rising above the poverty line.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, 4 crore pucca houses have been built, providing shelter to those in need. This initiative is a testament to the government’s commitment to ensuring housing for all.

These achievements underscore the government’s dedication to rural development and its commitment to transforming the lives of the rural population. As India continues on its path of progress, the focus remains on empowering every citizen and building a prosperous nation.
