BJP Announces Candidates for Rajasthan Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Date:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced its list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Rajasthan. The list includes names for seven Lok Sabha seats in the state.

In a surprising move, the party has decided to field many new faces this time, indicating a strategic shift in its political approach. The most notable change is in the Jaipur city constituency, where the ticket of the current Member of Parliament (MP), Ram Charan Bohra, has been cancelled. In his place, Manju Sharma, a relatively new face in the political landscape, has been given the opportunity to contest the elections.

The decision to introduce new faces in the electoral fray is seen as a gamble by the BJP. However, the party leadership believes that this move will infuse fresh energy into the party’s campaign and help it connect better with the voters.

The party’s decision has set the stage for an interesting electoral battle in Rajasthan. It remains to be seen how this gamble plays out and whether the new faces can carry forward the party’s legacy in the state.

The BJP’s announcement has certainly heated up the political atmosphere in Rajasthan, and all eyes are now on the other parties’ moves in response to this development.
