Rajasthan Royals have announced a special initiative for students, introducing heavily discounted tickets for their upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 home match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, scheduled to be played on April 25 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Under this fan engagement move, the franchise will offer match tickets at just ₹500 exclusively for students, aiming to make live IPL action more accessible and encourage younger audiences to experience the excitement of cricket from the stadium stands. The initiative is expected to draw strong participation from colleges and schools across Jaipur and nearby regions.
The franchise has confirmed that the special student ticket sale will be conducted on April 23, 2026, at the Box Office counter located at the West Gate of Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The sale window will remain open from 11 am to 6 pm, and tickets will be distributed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, given the limited stock allocated for the offer.
To avail the discounted tickets, students must present a valid school or college identity card at the counter. Each ID will be eligible for only one ticket, a rule implemented to ensure fair distribution and prevent bulk booking or misuse of the scheme.
Officials associated with the franchise stated that the initiative is part of Rajasthan Royals’ broader strategy to enhance fan engagement during home matches in Jaipur and build stronger connections with younger supporters. The team is expected to play multiple home fixtures at SMS Stadium this season, including matches against teams such as Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Alongside the offline student ticket counter, regular tickets for the match will continue to be available through the official online platform District by Zomato, as well as designated stadium counters. However, the ₹500 student category is a special limited-period initiative separate from general ticket sales.
