Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Assures Road Repairs and Development in Kota-Bundi

Date:

Rajasthan: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has assured citizens that road repairs and infrastructure development will be prioritized in the Kota-Bundi parliamentary constituency once the ongoing rainy season subsides.

Addressing concerns over widespread road damage, Birla said, “Due to the rainy season, the roads of the city and villages have been damaged. Many routes of transportation have also been closed. As soon as the rain stops, in the Kota-Bundi parliamentary constituency, wherever the routes of transportation have been closed, they will be repaired, and work will be done to construct roads.”

He highlighted that a comprehensive action plan has already been drawn up to address both immediate repair needs and long-term infrastructure development in the region. The initiative aims not only to restore transportation links disrupted by heavy rains but also to enhance connectivity and ensure smoother travel for residents and businesses.

Birla further underlined that the focus will remain on ensuring quality road construction to prevent similar disruptions in the future, especially in areas prone to seasonal weather challenges. He said that the development plan encompasses urban as well as rural areas, ensuring that villages are not left behind in the progress drive.

The Speaker also reiterated his commitment to overall growth in Kota-Bundi, emphasizing that improving infrastructure will boost economic opportunities and benefit farmers, traders, and daily commuters alike.
