BSF DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore Highlights Unified Preparedness During Nationwide Border Mock Drills

Jaisalmer, RajasthanBorder Security Force (BSF) DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore emphasized the importance of citizen awareness and inter-agency coordination during mock drills being conducted across India’s border states.

Speaking from Jaisalmer, he stated, “Mock drills are happening in the border states across the country. The main objective is that our citizens know how to carry out rescue operations if such a situation arises.

Referring to ongoing efforts like Operation Sindoor, DIG Rathore underlined the cohesive functioning between civil and military forces: “Whether it’s Operation Sindoor or regular times, our relations — with the civil administration, the Army, or the Air Force — are always on one grid. Whenever there’s a need, we stand together and respond as one.

The coordinated drills are seen as a proactive step to enhance public readiness and inter-agency synergy in managing emergencies near India’s sensitive borders.
