Jaipur to Host IIFA Awards 2025: Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari Highlights Tourism and Employment Boost

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari expressed enthusiasm over Jaipur being selected as the host city for the IIFA Awards 2025, stating that the event will significantly benefit the state’s economy, tourism, and film industry.

Speaking about the impact of the prestigious Bollywood awards ceremony, she said, “Film-makers will be attracted to Rajasthan. Employment opportunities are generated. Because of the IIFA Awards, all hotels in Jaipur are sold out… People get direct or indirect employment. Rajasthan has a huge scope in tourism.”

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards are one of the most anticipated global events celebrating Indian cinema. Hosting the event in Jaipur will bring worldwide attention to Rajasthan’s cultural heritage, palaces, and historical landmarks, making it a preferred destination for film shootings and international tourism.

With celebrities, industry professionals, and media from across the globe attending, the event is expected to create a massive economic boost for the hospitality, transport, and tourism sectors. Deputy CM Diya Kumari emphasized that the state government is committed to supporting such events to enhance Rajasthan’s global image as a cultural and entertainment hub.
