PM Modi Foresees Development Main Course in Rajya Sabha Address

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Motion of Thanks in the Rajya Sabha, has described the first decade of his governance as merely “appetizers,” indicating that the main course of development is yet to unfold. Emphasizing the government’s commitment to comprehensive welfare schemes, Modi highlighted efforts to ensure their saturation across all households.

“In the last 10 years of our governance, we have laid the groundwork. The main course of development is yet to come,” Modi remarked, setting the stage for future initiatives aimed at accelerating growth and prosperity.

The Prime Minister underscored visible progress in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, particularly noting the burgeoning startup ecosystem as a testament to the government’s policies. He cited the increasing number of startups in these cities as evidence of decentralized development and economic empowerment reaching beyond metropolitan centers.

“Our approach has been to ensure that the benefits of development reach every corner of the country,” Modi asserted, reflecting on the inclusive nature of his government’s policies.

The address in the Rajya Sabha, a platform for outlining achievements and responding to critiques, highlighted the government’s strategic focus on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation outside major urban hubs. Modi’s remarks resonate as a promise of continued efforts towards equitable development and economic resilience.

As political discourse intensifies ahead of upcoming elections, Modi’s vision of a robust developmental agenda and inclusive growth is likely to shape the narrative, influencing public perception and electoral strategies across the country.

The Prime Minister’s address marks a pivotal moment in India’s legislative landscape, setting the tone for future parliamentary deliberations and policy initiatives aimed at realizing his vision of a prosperous and empowered nation.
