PM Narendra Modi’s Third Term Begins, First Act Aids Farmers

Date:

New Delhi – Today marked the commencement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term in office, following a grand swearing-in ceremony in the capital city.

In a significant first act, PM Modi signed a file authorising the release of the 17th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This move is set to have a far-reaching impact, benefiting approximately 9.3 crore farmers across the country, with a total fund disbursement of around Rs 20,000 crores.

The PM-KISAN scheme, a central government initiative, provides income support to all farmer families across the nation. The scheme aims to supplement the financial needs of the farmers in procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities.

By choosing to prioritise the PM-KISAN scheme as his first official action, PM Modi has underscored the importance his government places on the agricultural sector and the welfare of the nation’s farmers.

As PM Modi steps into his third term, the nation eagerly anticipates more such initiatives that aim to uplift various sectors and contribute to the overall development of the country.
