Jaipur: Rajasthan has delivered a strong performance in the JEE Main 2026 results, with four students securing positions in the top 20 All India ranks, reinforcing the state’s continued dominance in engineering entrance preparation.
The results announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) also revealed that 26 candidates across the country achieved a perfect 100 percentile score, placing them in the highest performance bracket of the examination.
Among the top achievers, Kabeer Chillar secured All India Rank 1 with a perfect 100 NTA score, marking a standout performance in this year’s highly competitive exam cycle.
Rajasthan’s contribution to the top ranks remained significant, with students from the state featuring prominently among the 26 candidates who scored 100 percentile nationally. This continues the trend of strong performances from major coaching hubs such as Kota, which remains a key centre for engineering entrance preparation.
The 100 percentile scorers are now eligible for JEE Advanced 2026, the next stage of selection for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Officials noted that this year’s results reflect intense competition among lakhs of aspirants, with only a small fraction reaching the top percentile bracket.
Education experts said the outcome highlights both the rising level of competition and the structured preparation ecosystem, particularly in states like Rajasthan, which consistently produce top rankers in national engineering entrance exams.
The JEE Main continues to serve as a primary gateway for admissions to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions, with JEE Advanced determining entry into IITs.
With four students from Rajasthan in the top 20 and 26 candidates achieving perfect scores nationwide, the 2026 results underscore the state’s continued prominence in India’s competitive engineering education landscape.
