PM Modi Launches Key Development Projects in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir

Katra, Jammu & Kashmir — Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public gathering in Katra today while launching a series of development projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, connectivity, and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.

During his speech, PM Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development in the Union Territory. “Katra is not only a spiritual center but also a symbol of the growing aspirations of Jammu and Kashmir. The development projects launched today will bring new opportunities for the people and contribute to long-term economic growth,” he said.

The projects span sectors including road and rail infrastructure, healthcare, and tourism. Modi also highlighted ongoing efforts to improve pilgrimage experiences for devotees visiting the Vaishno Devi shrine, promising enhanced facilities and connectivity.

The Prime Minister reiterated the Centre’s focus on peace, progress, and prosperity in the region, stating that Jammu and Kashmir is moving steadily on the path of transformation.
