Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Highlights Major Reforms in Government School Education

Date:

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening the state’s education system, stating that quality education for every child is a top priority. Speaking in Jaipur, he detailed several initiatives aimed at modernising government schools and making education more accessible, inclusive, and technology-driven.

“To ensure that students receive quality education, our government is working to equip all government schools with necessary facilities,” Sharma said. He added that revolutionary steps have been taken to improve the educational infrastructure, particularly for underprivileged and rural communities.

Highlighting the state’s digital education drive, the Chief Minister announced that ICT (Information and Communication Technology) labs have been established in nearly 14,000 government schools, offering students exposure to digital learning tools and resources.

In addition, Sharma shared that smart classrooms are now operational in 13,000 government schools across Rajasthan. “This is helping our children keep pace with modern technology and develop future-ready skills,” he noted.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to create a robust and inclusive education ecosystem, ensuring that children from all sections of society receive equal opportunities.

The state government also plans to expand these digital and smart initiatives further in the coming academic years, aligning with its goal of transforming Rajasthan into a model state for public education.
