Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has emphasized the positive impact of hosting major events like the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) on the state’s tourism and economy. She expressed enthusiasm about Rajasthan’s potential to become a premier destination for cultural and entertainment events.

“People are very excited. Our effort will be to organize more such events in Rajasthan,” Kumari said. “By organizing these events, tourism will increase in Rajasthan, the economy will grow, and people will also get employment.”

Rajasthan, known for its rich heritage and historical landmarks, has been a key attraction for domestic and international tourists. The state government is now looking to further boost tourism through large-scale entertainment events, which not only draw visitors but also create business opportunities across various sectors, including hospitality, transportation, and local crafts.

The IIFA Awards, a globally recognized Bollywood event, brought celebrities, filmmakers, and tourists to Jaipur, reinforcing Rajasthan’s status as a vibrant cultural hub. The government hopes that by regularly hosting such events, it can strengthen the local economy and generate employment opportunities for residents.

With a renewed focus on event-based tourism, Rajasthan is positioning itself as a top destination for festivals, concerts, and film-related gatherings, ensuring long-term economic benefits for the state.
