PM Modi Raises Concerns Over Lost Key of Jagannath Temple’s ‘Ratnbhandar’

Date:

In a recent public meeting in Kandhamal, Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised serious concerns over the lost key of the ‘Ratnbhandar’ of the Jagannath temple. The key, he stated, has been missing for the last six years.

“The key was lost, who found it? Does he keep opening and closing it?” questioned the Prime Minister, expressing his concern over the security and sanctity of the temple’s treasury.

The state government later announced that a duplicate key had been found. This revelation, however, raised further questions. “Now the question is why this duplicate key was made?” asked PM Modi, implying potential irregularities.

The loss of the key is indeed a serious concern, but the existence of a duplicate key is even more alarming. It raises questions about the management and security of the temple’s treasury, which is believed to house invaluable treasures and artifacts.

The Prime Minister urged the state government to take immediate action to address these concerns and ensure the security of the temple’s ‘Ratnbhandar’.

The Jagannath temple, one of the most sacred Hindu shrines, attracts millions of devotees every year. The ‘Ratnbhandar’ or the temple treasury is believed to contain priceless treasures and artifacts, making its security a matter of utmost importance.

This incident has sparked a debate about the management of religious institutions and the need for transparency and accountability in their operations. As the investigation into the matter continues, the devotees of Lord Jagannath await answers.
