PM Modi Lauds Chirag Paswan’s Efforts in Bihar

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public rally in Jamui, expressed his satisfaction with the work of Chirag Paswan, whom he affectionately referred to as his “younger brother”. He praised Paswan for carrying forward the ideas of his father, Ram Vilas Paswan, with utmost seriousness.

“The land of Bihar has been showing direction to the entire country,” Modi said, acknowledging the state’s significant role in shaping the nation’s path. However, he also expressed regret over the fact that justice was not served to 5-6 generations of people in Bihar after independence.

Modi’s comments come at a time when Bihar is undergoing rapid transformation under the leadership of Chirag Paswan. Paswan, who took the reins after the demise of his father, has been working tirelessly to fulfill his father’s vision for Bihar.

The Prime Minister’s endorsement of Paswan’s efforts is seen as a significant boost for the young leader, who has been striving to bring about a positive change in the state. It also underscores the central government’s commitment to supporting Bihar’s development journey.

However, Modi’s remarks about the lack of justice for several generations in Bihar post-independence have sparked a debate. Critics argue that it is a veiled criticism of the previous governments that have ruled Bihar and the country.

As the political discourse continues, the people of Bihar are hopeful that the combined efforts of the central and state governments will usher in a new era of growth and prosperity in the state.
