PM Modi Addresses RBI’s 90th Commemoration Ceremony Amid Election Season

MUMBAI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address at the Reserve Bank of India’s 90th commemoration ceremony, hinted at a busy schedule for the central bank post-elections.

“I am busy with the elections for these 100 days, so you have a lot of time to think about new policies,” said PM Modi, addressing the RBI officials. He further added, “Because just a day after the swearing-in ceremony, you will have a lot of work.”

The statement comes at a time when the country is engrossed in the election season, and the central bank is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the economic policies post-elections.
