CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Speech in Assembly Will Be Remembered for Long Time: Rajasthan Minister Jogaram Patel

Date:

Rajasthan Minister Jogaram Patel on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma delivered a historic and impactful speech in the Rajasthan Assembly while supporting the motion of thanks, effectively responding to the opposition’s challenges and presenting a factual comparison of governance records.

Speaking during the ongoing Rajasthan Assembly session in Jaipur, Patel said that the Chief Minister’s address came after several days of detailed debate and discussion in the House. “After several days of debate and discussion, today Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma delivered a historic speech in the House while supporting the motion of thanks, which will be remembered for a long time to come,” Patel said.

He stated that the Chief Minister not only countered the allegations and challenges raised by the Congress but also accepted them head-on. According to Patel, the speech reflected confidence in the government’s performance and transparency in governance. “He completely responded to the challenges posed by the Congress and also accepted their challenge,” the minister added.

Patel said that CM Sharma presented a comprehensive and fact-based account comparing the Congress government’s five-year tenure with the BJP-led government’s two-year tenure. He noted that the Chief Minister laid out details of policy decisions, development initiatives, and governance outcomes before the Assembly, enabling a clear comparison between the two administrations.

“The Chief Minister presented a detailed account of the Congress’s five-year tenure and our two-year tenure in the Assembly, based on all the facts,” Patel said, asserting that the BJP government’s work speaks for itself.

Issuing a direct message to the opposition, Patel urged Congress legislators to engage constructively in debate and scrutinise the government’s performance. “I request my colleagues in the opposition in the Assembly to come forward and challenge our work, otherwise, our Chief Minister has already accepted the challenge you have given,” he said.

Political observers note that the remarks underline growing assertiveness by the ruling BJP in the Rajasthan Assembly, as it seeks to highlight its governance record while countering opposition criticism. The Chief Minister’s speech is being seen as a key moment in the current session, setting the tone for further debates on performance, accountability, and policy direction in the state.
