Prime Minister Narendra Modi Shares Youthful Reactions to Mauritius Visit in Mann Ki Baat

Date:

In the 120th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared heartwarming feedback from young listeners across India regarding his recent visit to Mauritius. Modi mentioned that three individuals—Atharva Kapoor from Varanasi, Aaryash Leekha, and Atrey Maan from Mumbai—expressed their enthusiasm about the visit, particularly the cultural performance of “Geet Gawai” that took place during the trip.

“I am happy to share that Atharva Kapoor from Varanasi, Aaryash Leekha, and Atrey Maan from Mumbai have written about their feelings on my recent visit to Mauritius,” said Modi. He highlighted that the young writers were especially impressed by the vibrant “Geet Gawai” performance, a traditional form of song and dance that celebrates cultural heritage.

The Prime Minister’s mention of these young voices in Mann Ki Baat underscored the connection between India’s youth and the cultural exchange fostered through diplomatic visits. The performance, which was a part of his official activities in Mauritius, evidently struck a chord with listeners who appreciated its artistic and cultural value.

Modi’s reflection on the positive reception of the visit, particularly the cultural aspect, further highlighted the importance of people-to-people ties and cultural diplomacy in strengthening relations between India and Mauritius.
