Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Highlights Agricultural Achievements at Loharu Rally

Date:

At a public rally in Loharu, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma lauded the BJP government’s commitment to farmers, emphasizing the significant strides made in agricultural policies since 2014. He pointed out that 24 crops are currently being procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP) in Haryana, showcasing the government’s dedication to ensuring fair prices for farmers.

Sharma contrasted the current situation with last year’s protests in Rajasthan, noting discrepancies in millet prices between the two states. “In Haryana, millets were bought at Rs 2,300, while in Rajasthan, they fetched only Rs 1,200. Whose government was in Rajasthan at that time? It was a Congress government,” he asserted, underlining the BJP’s efforts to support agricultural communities.

Reflecting on the party’s track record, Sharma urged the audience to recall the BJP’s 2014 ‘Sankalp Patra’ (manifesto) and its successful fulfillment of promises made in both 2019 and the upcoming 2024 elections. “Our government came to power in 2014 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and we have delivered on our commitments. What we promised in 2019, we fulfilled, and what we have promised for 2024, we will also fulfill,” he declared.

The rally aimed to galvanize support ahead of the elections, with Sharma emphasizing the importance of continuity in leadership to sustain agricultural reforms and economic growth. His remarks reflect the BJP’s strategy of highlighting its achievements while contrasting them with the opposition’s record, particularly in the agricultural sector.
