PM Modi Criticizes Opposition’s Stance on Ram Temple at Nandurbar Rally

Date:

Maharashtra – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public meeting in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, criticized the opposition for their stance on the Ram temple, accusing them of labeling it as “anti-national.”

In his address, PM Modi said, “See the mindset of Congress. In the country of Ram, they are calling the Ram temple, anti-national.” He further added, “Those people who organise ‘sarkari iftari’, beautify the graves of terrorists for appeasement are calling our lord Ram, his temple and us, who go to Ram temple, as anti-national…”

The Prime Minister’s comments come amidst the ongoing political discourse surrounding the construction of the Ram temple. The temple, a long-standing symbol of faith for many in the country, has been a contentious issue in Indian politics.

PM Modi’s remarks were aimed at the opposition parties, particularly the Congress, accusing them of using the issue for political gains. He criticized them for their alleged ‘sarkari iftari’ and for beautifying the graves of terrorists, implying that these actions were done for appeasement.

The Prime Minister’s comments have sparked a new round of debate on the issue, with reactions pouring in from various quarters. While supporters of the Prime Minister have lauded his stance, critics argue that such statements further polarize the society.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the discourse surrounding the Ram temple and its implications on national identity remain at the forefront of public debate.
