No Compromise on Students’ Future: PM Modi Announces Fast-Track Courts for Exam Paper Leak Cases

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Thursday morning the establishment of fast-track courts for the speedy resolution of all paper leak cases. PM Modi stated that no one who jeopardises the future of the youth will be spared.

PM Modi posted on the social media platform ‘X’, “The interests and future of the country’s youth are our top priority. Fast-track courts will be set up to ensure the speedy resolution of cases and to award the strictest possible punishment to those guilty in all paper leak incidents.” He further wrote, “Instructions have been issued in this regard for the concerned departments to ensure necessary action.”

He described the decision as a significant step in the interest of students. In his ‘X’ post, PM Modi wrote, “This is a significant step in the series of decisions being taken by the government to safeguard the interests of students. No one who plays with the future of the youth will be spared.”

Earlier, PM Modi had stated that the issue of paper leaks is not limited to any single state or the central government but is a matter of concern for the entire nation. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju stated on Tuesday, following the NDA’s ‘Mangal Milan’ event, that the Prime Minister had urged the country’s senior lawyers to come forward to ensure the strictest punishment for those involved in serious crimes like paper leaks, thereby instilling a fear of the law in potential offenders.

According to Rijiju, Prime Minister Modi emphasised that the government’s primary objective is to secure the future of students. It was for this reason that the re-examination for NEET was conducted promptly and the results were declared without delay, ensuring that the students’ academic future remained unaffected.
