Jiapur: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan, are organizing the 29th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG) 2026 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on July 1–2, 2026. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Viksit Bharat 2047: AI-enabled, Data-driven, and Secure Digital Governance.’ Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma will inaugurate this conference.
During the conference, 17 outstanding initiatives will be awarded, including 10 Gold, 6 Silver, and 1 Jury Award across seven categories under the National e-Governance Awards 2026. These awards will be presented by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Honorable Minister of State (Independent Charge), Government of India.
The objective of this conference is to bring together government officials, industry experts, and academicians to discuss innovative and transformative approaches for secure and sustainable e-service delivery in India, thereby contributing to the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).
The conference will feature six plenary sessions and six breakout sessions. More than 60 speakers from diverse sectors will share their experiences and present best practices across various sub-themes. Representatives from over 80 central ministries and departments, as well as from 28 states and 8 Union Territories, will participate in this conference. An exhibition will showcase India’s e-governance achievements, including a ‘Wall of Fame’ featuring past conference and National Award winners.
Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances; Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; and Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, will deliver keynote addresses at this event. The ‘Jaipur Declaration’ on e-Governance 2026 will be presented by Ms. Sarita Chauhan, Additional Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. (PIB)
