Jaipur: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has announced the final results of the Rajasthan Administrative and Allied Services (RAS) Examination 2024, with candidates from border districts dominating the top ranks.
Dinesh Vishnoi from Barmer secured the first rank, followed by Virendra Charan from Jaisalmer at second place and Navneet Mukesh Kumar Sharma from Bhilwara at third. The results were declared shortly after the completion of the interview process.
A notable highlight of this year’s results is the presence of four women candidates in the top 20. Aishwariya Kanwar secured the 6th rank, Shallu stood 8th, while Tanisha Yadav and Vrinda Shekhawat ranked 19th and 20th respectively.
The recruitment drive was conducted for a total of 1,096 posts, including 428 in the Rajasthan Administrative Service and 668 in allied services. Out of 2,461 candidates who appeared for the interview round, 2,391 candidates made it to the final merit list, reflecting the highly competitive nature of the examination.
Officials noted that several top-ranking candidates were already undergoing training in government roles such as tehsildar or police services, indicating continued commitment to public service careers.
The declaration of results marks the final stage of one of Rajasthan’s most prestigious competitive examinations, opening the way for successful candidates to take up key administrative positions across the state.
