Jaipur: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Monday expressed strong support for the Union Budget 2026, highlighting its alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat—a developed and prosperous India.

Speaking about the Budget, Bairwa said, “The Budget has always been one which will take forward the vision of PM Narendra Modi for Viksit Bharat.” He applauded Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for consistently presenting budgets that prioritize the interests of women, youth, labourers, and farmers—key segments of India’s population.

Bairwa emphasized that the 2026 budget continues this tradition by focusing on inclusive growth and development. “The Budget will be one which keeps in mind fulfilling the vision of Viksit Bharat. I believe that this Budget will bring in something for our state of Rajasthan too,” he said, expressing optimism about the positive impact the budget will have on the state’s socio-economic progress.

The Deputy CM’s remarks reflect the government’s broader commitment to fostering balanced regional development and social welfare through targeted policy measures. He noted that the Union Budget’s focus on infrastructure, employment generation, and social schemes aligns with Rajasthan’s own developmental goals.

Bairwa underlined the importance of such visionary budgeting in ensuring that all sections of society benefit from economic growth, which is essential for achieving India’s ambitious goal of becoming a global economic powerhouse by 2047.

Overall, his statement reiterates Rajasthan’s dedication to working alongside the Centre to realize a future where growth is inclusive, sustainable, and empowering for all citizens.
