Tarun Chugh: People of Bihar Supporting Modi–Nitish Duo, Rejecting Mafia Rule

Date:

Ajmer, Rajasthan: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday said that the people of Bihar are firmly backing the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the ongoing Bihar elections. He asserted that voters are choosing stability and progress over the “era of extortion, hooliganism, and mafia rule.”

Speaking to reporters in Ajmer, Chugh said, “The people of Bihar are blessing the pair of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar in the Bihar elections. They are punishing extortion, hooliganism, and mafia rule.”

Chugh highlighted that the Modi–Nitish alliance represents a vision of governance centered on development, law and order, and public welfare. He said that the people of Bihar have witnessed a visible transformation in recent years under the NDA government and will continue to support policies that prioritize growth and security.

He further accused the opposition of attempting to mislead the public through divisive politics. “The days of fear and lawlessness are over. Today, Bihar stands with Modi and Nitish for peace, progress, and prosperity,” Chugh added.

Political observers believe Chugh’s remarks signal the BJP’s confidence in its alliance with the JD(U) and its strategy to consolidate voter support by highlighting development and law enforcement achievements, while contrasting them with the alleged corruption and criminality of previous regimes.
