Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore Highlights Spirit of Unity on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Date:

Jaipur: Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Thursday paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), underscoring the importance of unity and collective strength in building a strong nation.

Speaking at an event in Jaipur, Rathore said, “The strength of the country is ‘unity in diversity’ and ‘strength in unity’. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel united India. PM Modi gave it the form of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat today. When the youth run today, they will send out a message of that sentiment.”

Rathore, a former Olympian and Union Minister, emphasized that the Run for Unity organized across the country embodies the vision of national integration and harmony. He highlighted that such initiatives not only honor the legacy of Sardar Patel but also inspire the younger generation to actively contribute to the nation’s unity and progress.

The Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat initiative continues Patel’s mission by strengthening bonds among states, promoting cultural exchange, and fostering a shared sense of national identity.

Events marking Rashtriya Ekta Diwas were held across Rajasthan, including marathons, cultural programs, and awareness drives, celebrating the spirit of togetherness that defines India’s strength.
