Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh:
While laying the foundation stone of multiple development projects in his parliamentary constituency Kashi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of self-reliance in driving India’s economic progress.

He stated that in the face of global uncertainty, India is steadily moving toward becoming the world’s third-largest economy. PM Modi stressed that this growth must be rooted in swadeshi values and local enterprise.

“India’s progress should be anchored in self-reliance. The time has come for every citizen to embrace ‘Vocal for Local’ not just as a slogan but as a national responsibility,” the Prime Minister said.

The projects unveiled in Kashi are aimed at improving infrastructure, boosting employment, and enhancing the quality of life in the region. PM Modi reiterated that self-reliance is not just economic, but also a cultural and civic mindset.
