Jaipur: New Rajasthan DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma Meets CM Bhajanlal Sharma

Rajasthan’s newly appointed Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Kumar Sharma paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma at the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday.

During the meeting, CM Sharma congratulated Rajeev Kumar Sharma on his new role and expressed confidence in his leadership to strengthen law and order across the state. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining public safety, tackling organized crime, and ensuring a people-centric approach in policing.

Rajeev Kumar Sharma, a senior IPS officer with a distinguished service record, assured the Chief Minister of his commitment to upholding peace, transparency, and professional excellence in Rajasthan Police operations.

The meeting marks the beginning of Sharma’s tenure as the state’s top cop, with expectations of increased focus on law enforcement reforms and enhanced public trust in the police force.
