Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Manipur: “Government is Sensitive and Monitoring the Situation Closely”

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the situation in Manipur, stating that the central government is closely monitoring developments and taking necessary steps to restore stability.

Speaking to the media, Meghwal said, “The government is very sensitive about Manipur. There was a discussion in this regard in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The Home Minister is constantly monitoring it. I am confident that the situation will definitely improve.”

The minister emphasized that the Union Home Ministry is actively engaged in efforts to restore peace and normalcy in the northeastern state. Discussions have been held in both houses of Parliament, reflecting the government’s focus on resolving the crisis.

The situation in Manipur has remained a key national concern, and Home Minister Amit Shah’s continuous oversight signals the government’s proactive approach to addressing tensions and ensuring the safety of citizens. Meghwal expressed optimism, stating that with ongoing efforts, the situation in Manipur will improve in the coming days.
