PM Modi Lambasts INDI Alliance and TMC for Corruption in Bolpur Rally

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pulled no punches during his electrifying election rally in Bolpur, West Bengal, where he launched a scathing attack on both the INDI alliance and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing them of rampant corruption and involvement in various scams during their respective tenures.

Addressing a sea of enthusiastic supporters, PM Modi asserted, “In their 10 years of governance, the INDI alliance did nothing but engage in scams and corruption.” He proceeded to enumerate a litany of scandals that have marred the INDI alliance’s tenure, including the infamous 2G scam, submarine and helicopter scam, and the Commonwealth Games (CWG) scam.

PM Modi didn’t spare the TMC either, alleging that they were following a similar trajectory of corruption. “TMC is also on the same path, indulging in scams in unimaginable ways,” he declared, pointing out a series of alleged scams under the TMC’s rule, such as the ration scam, recruitment scam, coal scam, and animal trafficking scam.

According to PM Modi, these were not minor infractions but massive operations worth hundreds of crores, which have severely hampered the state’s progress and development.

His accusations come at a pivotal moment as West Bengal braces itself for the upcoming elections, with corruption emerging as a central theme in the political discourse.

The rally in Bolpur forms an integral part of PM Modi’s election campaign in West Bengal, aimed at rallying support for his party. The allegations of corruption are expected to trigger intense scrutiny and debate as the elections draw nearer.

As of now, representatives of the INDI alliance and the TMC have not responded to PM Modi’s allegations. However, these accusations are poised to fuel significant political upheaval in West Bengal, setting the stage for a fiercely contested electoral battle.
