PM Modi Criticizes Opposition at Bardhaman-Durgapur Rally

Date:

West Bengal – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public rally here, launched a scathing attack on the opposition, accusing them of dividing society for the sake of votes.

“They (Opposition) cannot bring development. They only know how to divide the society for the sake of votes,” said PM Modi, expressing his concern over the political culture in West Bengal.

The Prime Minister also brought attention to a recent controversial statement made by a Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA. The MLA allegedly threatened to drown Hindus in the Bhagirathi river within two hours. “What is this language and political culture?” questioned PM Modi, condemning the open threat.

PM Modi further expressed his concern over the treatment of Hindus in West Bengal. “What is happening to Hindus in Bengal? Looks like the TMC has made the Hindus second citizens in West Bengal,” he stated.

The Prime Minister’s comments come amidst a heated political climate in West Bengal. His remarks have sparked a fresh debate on the state of communal harmony and the political discourse in the region.

The opposition parties have yet to respond to PM Modi’s comments. As the political tension continues to escalate, the citizens of West Bengal await a constructive dialogue that can lead to the development and unity of the state.
