PM Modi Assures Action Against Mismanagement in Kerala Cooperative Banks

Date:

In a candid conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prof. TN Sarasu, the BJP candidate from Alathur in Kerala, critical issues plaguing cooperative banks took center stage. Prof. Sarasu raised concerns about the rampant mismanagement of funds by CPI(M) leaders within these financial institutions, leaving countless poor depositors in distress.

The Problem at Hand

Prof. Sarasu minced no words as she addressed the Prime Minister: “There is a problem in Kerala with cooperative banks. These institutions, governed by CPI(M) leaders, have been systematically looting the hard-earned money of the poor. Depositors are left without recourse, unable to retrieve their savings. The people are rightfully outraged.”

PM Modi’s Response

Prime Minister Modi commended Prof. Sarasu for championing the cause of the people. “As a candidate,” he said, “you are fulfilling your duty as a public servant by highlighting these issues. It’s commendable.” He acknowledged having received information about the crisis and expressed deep concern for the affected citizens.

Swift Action Promised

“Our government,” PM Modi assured, “will take strict action against all those involved in this financial mismanagement. Justice will be served to the poor.” He pledged to seek legal advice and emphasized that any property seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) would be scrutinized meticulously. “If common people’s hard-earned money is at stake,” he declared, “each and every penny will find its way back to its rightful owner. We will enforce this rigorously.”

The conversation underscores the government’s commitment to rectify the situation and restore faith in Kerala’s cooperative banking system. As the election season unfolds, voters in Alathur will closely watch how these promises translate into action.
