BJP Gears Up for Lok Sabha Elections: Strategy for Clean Sweep in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh

Date:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in full election mode, strategizing for a clean sweep in Rajasthan in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The first list of candidates is expected to be released in the first week of March.

A high-level meeting was held at the BJP headquarters, where Home Minister Amit Shah and President JP Nadda met with the Rajasthan Chief Minister and State President. The meeting marked the party’s shift into full gear for the elections following the end of the national convention.

In a series of marathon meetings that began on Saturday, the first day saw discussions on election preparations for five states, including Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh. The party has formulated a strategy for a clean sweep in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

The meetings also saw deliberations over the names of winning candidates for the Rajsamand, Alwar, and Jaipur rural seats, which became vacant after three of the party’s MPs were elected as MLAs in Rajasthan.

A special discussion was held on the Nagaur seat, which was won last time by Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief Hanuman Beniwal as part of the NDA alliance. This seat has been vacant since Beniwal became an MLA.

The top leadership has instructed the creation of panels of strong contenders for all the seats and to send them to the Central Election Committee as soon as possible.

The BJP’s strategic planning and rigorous preparation indicate a determined approach to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
