Prime Minister to Inaugurate Long-Awaited Railway Project in Dausa and Gangapur City

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate a long-awaited railway project between Dausa and Gangapur City in Rajasthan on 26th February. This inauguration is expected to benefit lakhs of people in the area who have been anticipating the railway operation for almost two and a half decades.

The Railways will be gifting the region with all the underpasses and Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) built on this project before its complete inauguration. These infrastructures will be dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister in a virtual event.

In preparation for this significant event, DRM Vikas Purwar of North-Western Railway conducted an inspection of all the underpasses and ROBs built on the railway track between Gangapur City and Dausa on Wednesday. Accompanied by railway officials, DRM Purwar left Gangapur City in a special inspection vehicle.

During the inspection, DRM Purwar disembarked from the vehicle at the underpass and ROB locations to assess the sites. He then proceeded to Lalsot railway station in the inspection vehicle, where he held a meeting with the officials and provided guidelines regarding the virtual inauguration.

Following the meeting, he departed for Dausa via Didwana by road. Several officers, including XEN Chandrashekhar Yadav, Assistant Engineer Ramotar Meena, Senior Section Engineer Gangasagar Parsoya, and Station Superintendent KC Meena, accompanied him during this time.

This railway project’s inauguration marks a significant milestone for the region, promising improved connectivity and numerous benefits for the local population.
