BJP’s Assurance: No Riots or Temple Demolitions in Rajasthan, says Shah

Date:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has kick-started the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan. Shah, who participated in various programs across Bikaner, Udaipur, and Jaipur, outlined the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government.

In his addresses, Shah did not hold back in his criticism of the Congress party, including Sonia Gandhi. He highlighted the Congress party’s stance on the Ram Mandir issue, suggesting that the party’s attitude had been made clear to the public. He emphasized the need for BJP workers and leaders to understand how elections are won.

Shah also took a swipe at the previous Congress government in Rajasthan over incidents of riots and vandalism in temples. He assured that under the BJP’s rule, such incidents would not occur. This comes after recent reports of temples being bulldozed in Alwar, which led to a political slugfest in the state.

Shah referred to the current BJP government in Rajasthan as a “double engine government”, implying that it is powered by both the state and central BJP leadership. He expressed confidence that this government would spare no effort in the development of the state.

The Union Home Minister’s visit is seen as a significant move in the BJP’s preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. The party is aiming to win all 25 seats in the state. State Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and State BJP President CP Joshi accompanied Shah in all the programs.

The BJP’s campaign in Rajasthan is off to a vigorous start, with the party clearly outlining its achievements and goals. As the Lok Sabha elections approach, it remains to be seen how these strategies will resonate with the voters of Rajasthan.
