Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on October 8, 2026. IMC 2026, jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), is being held from October 7 to 10.
The theme of this year’s event is “Scale Without Boundaries,” highlighting the growing role of digital innovation, next-generation connectivity, and technology-driven growth.
IMC 2026 will be anchored around four key pillars — Srishti: Building the Future, Samvardhan: Fueling Growth, Sashakt: Expanding Opportunities, and Suraksha: Strengthening Trust — with a focus on innovation, digital infrastructure, inclusive access, economic growth and cybersecurity.
At IMC 2026, global technology companies, policymakers, industry experts, startups, investors, and innovators will come together to discuss emerging technologies and opportunities within the digital ecosystem. The 2026 edition will cover nine key technology sectors, including 5G and 6G, next-generation AI networks, semiconductors, enterprise transformation, circular economy and ESG non-terrestrial networks, cybersecurity, quantum communication, and electronics manufacturing.
Four new focus areas have also been added to this event—smart mobility, stadium experience, industrial robotics, and transport technology—reflecting the growing use of digital technology across various sectors.
The 2026 edition is expected to attract over 1.5 lakh participants from more than 100 countries. It will feature the participation of over 500 partners and exhibitors, more than 600 startups, and over 900 thought leaders. The event will showcase more than 2,000 technology use cases based on developments in the telecom and digital technology ecosystem and include over 120 sessions.
