Rajasthan: Indian Railways has approved a new tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Bhuj in Gujarat, and Barauni in Bihar, covering 2,532 km and connecting key destinations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 19427) will depart from Bhuj at 5:30 PM and arrive at Barauni at 4:05 AM. This service will operate three days a week, strengthening long-distance rail connectivity between Western and Eastern India.
On the return journey, Train No. 19428 Barauni-Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Barauni at 11:55 PM and arrive in Bhuj at 1:15 PM. This new service is expected to provide passengers with an additional travel option across the four states along the route.
The Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while the Barauni-Bhuj service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Major Stations on the Route
The Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will halt at several major stations: Samakhiali, Ahmedabad, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Mathura, Hathras, Bareilly, Izzatnagar, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Samastipur.
This new service will strengthen direct rail connectivity between Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, and offer passengers an additional travel option between Western and Eastern India.
