Amit Shah Inaugurates, Lays Foundation for Rs 6,453 Crore Development Projects Across 17 Rajasthan Districts

Rajasthan: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched and laid the foundation for Rajasthan government projects worth ₹6,453 crore in Alwar, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and other dignitaries.

Shri Amit Shah stated that the groundbreaking ceremony for a milk processing plant with a capacity of 3 lakh liters has taken place in Alwar, and this capacity will soon be increased to 5 lakh liters. This will boost the income of cattle rearers and improve the lives of their families.

Shri Amit Shah stated that four Saras Dairy plants located in Bhilwara, Jaipur, Pali, and Rajsamand and four district banks in Phalodi, Balotra, Didwana-Kuchaman, and Pratapgarh have been launched at a cost of ₹274 crore. Farmers will be able to avail loans at zero percent interest through these banks. Additionally, ₹152 crore was disbursed under the crop insurance scheme, and over ₹667 crore was provided to 67 lakh farmers under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi at the rate of ₹1,000 per farmer.

Amit Shah stated that empowering the youth, the poor, farmers, and women is essential to transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. He highlighted initiatives such as the Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers, dairy facilities worth ₹500 crore for livestock rearers, employment opportunities for the youth, and the expansion of Saras Dairy for women.

He stated that the foundation stones were laid and groundbreaking ceremonies performed for 954 development projects worth ₹6,453 crore in Alwar. Prior to this, projects worth ₹5,500 crore had been launched in Chittorgarh. Thus, development works worth ₹11,953 crore were initiated in Rajasthan in a single day.

Shri Shah also stated that since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, numerous significant schemes have been launched annually for farmers and animal husbandry practitioners. Key among these are the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Fasal Bima Yojana, e-NAM, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, and the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana. He noted that continuous efforts have been made since 2014 to introduce new initiatives for the welfare of farmers.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah stated that there are 44,000 cooperative societies in Rajasthan, and the goal is to connect every village with the cooperative movement. 50 new warehouses will be constructed in 2026-27, while 162 warehouses have already been completed.

Under the leadership of PM Modi, India has achieved record procurement of food grains at MSP and implemented significant hikes in the MSP for major crops. Shri Amit Shah stated that the government’s goal is to make every village prosperous through the vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’.
