Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari Leads Seva Pakhwada Cleanliness Drive at Jaipur’s Jantar Mantar

Date:

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari participated in a special cleanliness drive at Jantar Mantar as part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada campaign, which runs from September 17 to October 2. The initiative aims to promote public participation in maintaining cleanliness across heritage sites and monuments throughout the state.

Speaking at the event, Diya Kumari said, “Today, we honoured our sanitation workers. The Seva Pakhwada campaign includes the cleaning of all our monuments. Today, we’ve all come together at Jantar Mantar to clean up. This isn’t just a party campaign, nor is it a government campaign; it’s a public campaign. This cleanliness drive is our responsibility. It’s every citizen’s responsibility. Every citizen should contribute to all these things.”

The Deputy CM highlighted the importance of community involvement in preserving Rajasthan’s rich heritage and ensuring a clean environment for both residents and tourists. The campaign reflects the government’s vision of combining heritage conservation with public awareness, encouraging people to actively engage in safeguarding cultural landmarks.

As part of the Seva Pakhwada program, various activities—including monument cleaning, sanitation drives, and awareness campaigns—are being carried out across Rajasthan. The effort not only strengthens the state’s cleanliness mission but also underscores the collective duty of citizens to protect historical sites and maintain public spaces.
