Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday conducted a detailed review of the Public Health Engineering Department’s (PHED) budget announcements for the year 2025–26 at his residence. The meeting focused on ensuring the timely execution of key water supply and infrastructure projects across the state.
During the review, CM Sharma issued clear directives to complete all water projects within the stipulated time frame, underscoring the importance of efficient implementation to meet public needs. He emphasised that delays in execution could adversely affect communities dependent on these projects for reliable drinking water and sanitation facilities.
Public Health Engineering Minister Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary and senior departmental officials were present at the meeting, providing updates on ongoing and proposed initiatives. The review covered critical schemes aimed at improving water availability, enhancing distribution networks, and modernising infrastructure to ensure sustainable water management in Rajasthan.
Officials assured the Chief Minister of their commitment to adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality standards in project execution. The meeting also addressed strategies to overcome potential challenges in procurement, resource allocation, and field-level coordination.
